Dress Down Day

Dress Down Day

Nominate a specific day and get everyone to donate £1 and choose a theme such as casual wear, fancy dress, wearing pink, crazy hat day or football kits.

Raffle

Ask local businesses, including your own, for prizes and hold a raffle at your workplace, selling tickets to raise money. Another fundraising classic with lots of potential for a 4 theme…

  • £4 per row of tickets
  • 4 jackpot prizes
  • 4 hours off work to the winner

Cake Sale

Get everyone to bake or buy 4 cakes, and have a competition to see who can sell their goodies for the highest price.   

Sweepstakes 

Run a sweepstake on a big sporting event such as the Grand National or World Cup.

Team Social or Party

Organise a party or gala dinner to celebrate a particular project where you can let your hair down and have fun together. To raise money, you could hold a collection or organise a game of 'heads and tails' or hold a raffle or auction.

Invite your colleagues for a karaoke night and ask for donations.

Quiz - hold a quiz night for colleagues and charge contestents to enter and test their knowledge for a prize.

Meningitis UK can help you organise a group skydive if you are up for a real test of character and want to take a giant leap 4 meningitis.  This is a challenge that will really blow away the stresses of the financial year!

Abseil Rally

If you work in or close to an impressive multi-storey building and would like to get the attention of the local press, perhaps you could organise an abseil rally and see how many people can descend it within 4 hours.

Fun Run

Marathon Relay

Most marathon fun-runners will complete the race in 4 hours, so why not get into teams of 4, jump on the treadmill and see which team can run a marathon distance (26 miles) in the fastest time.

Fun Run

Running 4 kilometres is within most people’s reach given a little training, so encourage your staff to stay fit and healthy by organising a sponsored jog around your local park.  If you’re ambitious, you could even make it 4 miles instead!

Golf Challenge

Golf Day

Golf is always a favourite activity amongst our corporate supporters, but why not add a challenge element to this event by running a competition with a special award for anyone who achieves a 4-par average?!

Karaoke-thon

It might be painful to listen to, but a 4 hour karaoke-thon will really break down barriers and provide endless fun.  Some people can be sponsored to sing, while others are bribed to stop!

Car Wash

Build links with your local community and break down office hierarchies by rolling your sleeves up and washing cars in turn for sponsorship or a £4 donation.

Quad Bike Challenge

Quad Bike Challenge

Get muddy and release your inner child with a sponsored quad bike relay, or hit the tarmac at your local go-karting centre.
