Payroll giving
Payroll Giving is an easy way for you to make donations through your wages or salary.
Tax efficient
Because the donations are made before tax is deducted, it is also one of the most tax-efficient ways of giving to Meningitis UK. If you pay the normal rate of income tax at 22 per cent, every £1 you give will only cost you 78p (the savings are even greater for higher-rate tax payers).
Regular giving
Giving regular contributions helps you to ‘spread the load' plus also enables us to plan and commit to future research, knowing that funds are secure.
How to set it up
Many employers already have payroll giving schemes in place. If so, your finance or payroll officer will be able to help you set up regular contributions through your company's existing payroll giving scheme.
If your company doesn't have a payroll giving scheme, we can easily help your payroll department to set it up. All they need to do is to sign up with a government approved agency such as Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) or Give As You Earn (GAYE) who will handle all the administration.
