New Big Stroll series of walks coming soon!
With our marathon walks now coming to an end, we’re in the process of developing a new programme of day-long countryside walks across the UK. This new initiative will include two new walks in Northern Ireland, in addition to walks in Bristol and North Yorkshire. Dates for the Big Strolls are available below - more information on each walk will be available here soon!
Organise your own walk
Organising your own walk is a fantastic way to raise funds for Meningitis UK. You could choose a gentle sponsored stroll that your friends and family can take part in or a more challenging route - it's completely up to you! Whatever you decide, we'll be there to help you every step of the way with all the help and advice you need to make your walk a great success.
If you would like more information about organising your own walk, please contact Laura Bullock on 0117 303 33 42 or email laurabullock@meningitisuk.org.
Events throughout the year
Meningitis UK organises four sponsored walks throughout the calendar year. We also have several walks organised by our wonderful supporters, most of which are in memory of someone lost to meningitis.
- Saturday 5 May – Big Stroll: North East
- Saturday 2 June – Big Stroll: Northern Ireland (coastal)
- Sunday 3 June – Big Stroll: Northern Ireland (canal)
- Saturday 16 June – Big Stroll: South West
We encourage all supporters to join in our fundraising walks. Every step you make is a step closer to finding a vaccine in our Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign.
If you would like to join in a Meningitis UK sponsored walk, please contact us on 0117 947 63 20 or email information@meningitisuk.org.
If you would like to join in a supporter walk, or indeed if you would like to set up a walk of your own and would like some help, contact Laura Bullock on 0117 303 33 42 or email laurabullock@meningitisuk.org.
