Bristol Half Marathon

Bristol Half Marathon

Congratulations to our fantastic runners who ran the Bristol Half Marathon on 11 September 2011. The Meningitis UK team had a fantastic day cheering on all the musketeers on route as well as meeting you all either before or after the race at the Living Room pub.

We have nearly collected all the sponsorship money for the event and our current total for the Bristol Half Marathon is an amazing £15,828.23 - Well done!

Take part in 2012

Runners of all abilities, from novices to professionals, are being invited to ‘Run Bristol' in 2012, as the Half Marathon celebrates its 24th birthday. This popular event, which goes through the historic city of Bristol, is renowned for its fast, flat course and great atmosphere. Meningitis UK has a number of guaranteed (Golden Bond) places available in the West Country's leading road race, which now attracts in the region of 15,000 runners.  If you'd like to join our Meningitis Musketeers team for 2012 please download and complete our Golden Bond application form (Word, opens in new window).

In return we will support you all the way with the snazziest vest in the South West, sponsor forms, your own online sponsorship page, fundraising tips and resources! We will also be there on the day to cheer you on and meet you at the end and celebrate!
