Time 4 Tea
It's time to dust off your teapot, grab your favourite recipe book and take part in Britain's best tea party event this September - Time 4 Tea. It's
a great chance to gather friends and family and have fun for an amazing cause.
All you need to do is organise a tea- or cake-related fundraising event at any time during the month. Ideas to whet your appetite include cake-baking competitions, tea dances and coffee mornings. Your event can be any size, from a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to just a tea break at work.
Every penny raised will help us stamp out meningitis through our Search 4 a Vaccine campaign. This aims to raise £7 million for cutting-edge research into vaccines to prevent meningitis and save thousands of precious lives in the future.
This year's Time 4 Tea is supported by actress, cookery goddess and Celebrity Master Chef winner Lisa Faulkner, who has kindly donated her delicious 'Fantasy Cake' recipe to help you get baking and brewing.
We also have lots more delicious recipe suggestions.
