Ian said "I certainly take my hat off to people who complete the Three Peaks in 24 hours. It was definitely an experience, I was pleased and suprised that I managed to do it! At the time I said never again but there's now a chance that I may be accompanying my fellow climber, Neil, and his son again this year."

London to Paris Cycle ride

Ooh la la!  Ali rocking out!

You can boost your sponsorship for your challenge like supporter Ali Wright, who has raised hundreds of pounds towards his London to Paris bike ride by holding two music nights in his local area. (Lycra catsuit optional!)

London to Paris Cycle Ride

Congratulations to Amy Kilpatrick for completing the London to Paris cycle ride in celebration of herself after contracting baterial meningitis in 2009.

Amy Said: 'I was so lucky, but I know so many people and their families aren’t. I can’t imagine having to go through what my family had to endure so I wanted to do something to try and help. I looked at a few charities but really like the search for a vaccine campaign that Meningitis UK were shouting about and decided to support it by cycling from London to Paris.

On July 14th 112 of us congregated in Crystal Palace ready to embark on the 300 mile bike ride to Paris. After 4 days of winds, hills, punctures, sore legs (and bums) and many, many energy bars we arrived at the Eiffel Tower, it was amazing! Really hard work, definitely challenging, but worth every hour of training and every penny of sponsorship! My cycling buddies were great and the ground crew were excellent. Despite all the aches and pains I had such a brilliant and memorable time, and I can't wait to do the next one! Paris to Geneva???? Watch this space!'
