Awareness trailer
As part of our nationwide awareness programme, we have a giant awareness trailer which displays the symptoms of meningitis. This tours the country, visiting locations such as superstores and events, and is available to visit on request.
The large-scale symptoms on the trailer encourage people to arm themselves with the knowledge that could save a life. Symptoms cards are also available to give out to shoppers and passers-by. This is often combined with a press launch to raise awareness through the media. Local families who support the charity often lend their hand by telling their story to the media to alert people to the dangers of meningitis and by helping to give out awareness information.
