Meningitis UK's Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign aims to raise £7 million to help fund cutting-edge research to develop a vaccine against Meningitis B, which causes almost 90% of cases in the UK and for which there is currently no vaccine.
Scientists believe that with enough support, this can be achieved within the next few years. The campaign was launched in 2007 on the 'fourth day of the fourth month' to highlight the devastating fact that ‘Meningitis can kill in under 4 hours'. So far, we have raised a fantastic £1.5million but we need your help to raise the rest of the money to make our vision a reality. The more support we get, the sooner our scientists can develop a vaccine and the less lives will be lost.

Be one of the first to join in this exciting new fundraising event! The Big Bug Hunt is a series of fun and exciting activities for the 0-5 year olds including a sponsored bug hunt. The Big Hug Hunt not only helps to raise vital income, but also raises awareness of meningitis within this high-risk age group. The event also includes lots of activities designed to help the children learn more about themselves and the world around them.
