Information days
Friends' Day
Following the success of last year's Friends' Day in Sheffield, this year's event will be held on Saturday 10th April 2010 in the Bristol area. Our annual Friends’ Day is an opportunity for friends and supporters of Meningitis UK to all meet up and hear about what has been happening at the charity.
The day includes a chance to hear directly from our researchers about the progress being made towards our search for a vaccine, as well as updates from supporters and members of our team about some of the great events which have been taking place.
After the presentations, there will be break out sessions with scientists and clinicians, who will be happy to answer any questions you have.
In the afternoon we will be holding a non-denominational memorial service at Bristol’s Memorial Woodlands, where we have a garden of remembrance. Venue, accomodation and travel details (word, opens in a new window) can be downloaded here, but you would like further details or would like to be involved in any way, please email Victoria Brazier, our marketing and communications officer on victoriabrazier@meningitisuk.org or telephone 0117 302 6196.
