Friends' Day
Our annual Friends' Day is a great opportunity for friends and supporters of Meningitis UK to get together to hear about what has been happening at the charity over the past year.
This year's Friends' Day took place on Saturday 2 April 2011 at The Gables Hotel (Best Western) in Falfield near Bristol. The day featured presentations by Meningitis UK staff and scientists, Q&A sessions and provided an opportunity to participate in a range of workshops.

Vaccine Development Forum
Meningitis UK held their first Vaccine Development Forum in 2009. Attended by over 70 members of the meningitis research field from across the UK, the day was a great success, with presentations from some of the UK's leading researchers.
This year's Vaccine Forum took place on Friday 1 April 2011 in Bristol and featured leading speakers such as Professor Andrew Pollard and Dr Ray Borrow. Visit our Vaccine Forum 2011 web page to find out more about the event.
