Friends' Day 2010
Saturday 10th April 2010
On Saturday 10th April over 100 friends and supporters of Meningitis UK came together in Bristol to share their experiences of meningitis and to hear updates on our Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign from our funded meningitis researchers, as well as presentations from supporter Terry Laing and the Meningitis UK team.
After lunch we headed over to the Memorial Woodlands in Alveston for a lovely memorial service for those lost to meningitis. We used this service to launch our memorial garden, and each guest was invited to lay a flower at the stone as a tribute to their lost loved-ones.
