Friends' Day 2011

This year's Friends' Day took place on Saturday 2 April 2011 at The Gables Hotel (Best Western) in Falfield near Bristol. The day featured a programme of presentations by Meningitis UK staff and scientists, Question and Answer sessions and provided an opportunity to participate in a range of workshops such as ‘Art Therapy’ and ‘Coping with Bereavement’.
After lunch, we headed over to the Memorial Woodlands in Alveston and concluded the day with a non-denominational memorial service at the Memorial Woodlands Chapel.
