Call for thrill-seekers to abseil for vaccine development

MENINGITIS UK is inviting all daredevils to take on the ultimate adrenaline rush by abseiling down the impressive Avon Gorge.

Anyone who wants to descend 190 feet while supporting life-saving vaccine research should get in touch as soon as possible - as this challenge is taking place on October 22.

Fundraiser Toya Champ said: "This will be a challenge to remember and anyone who takes part will be properly equipped, briefed and trained in how to safely make the descent to the bottom of the gorge.

"Participants will need to pay £34 to sign up and are then encouraged to raise as much as they can to support life-saving vaccine research.

"I hope to hear from you soon!"

The Avon Mega Abseil Challenge put on by Adventure Café is sure to be an achievement to be proud of and should run from 10am to 3pm.
