Calling all Sainsbury's shoppers

Sainsbury's supermarkets across the UK are asking customers to nominate a favourite local charity for their 'Local Charity of the Year' scheme (external link).

Due to our location, Meningitis UK is targeting the Sainsbury's Emerson Green Store (external link) . You can pick up a nomination form from the Emerson's Green Sainsbury's store located at The Village, Emerson Way, Emersons Green, Bristol BS16 7AE.

The nomination forms are located at the customer service and reception desk near the entrance of the store. The nomination form asks you to answer the following questions:

• I think this charity makes a difference by....
• How does this charity address the needs of your community?
• Tell us (Sainsbury's) how we can best support your chosen charity....
• Contact details for nominated charity...(Meningitis UK, 25 Cleevewood Road, Downend, Bristol BS16 2SF)

We would appreciate it if you would consider picking up several nomination forms and ask other people you know to nominate us. The closing date for nominations is 25 May 2011.
