Prizes in a grand auction will include a Fender Stratocaster guitar signed and donated by Midge Ure, a Tanglewood acoustic guitar signed by John Williams and John Etheridge, a framed Wonka bar from the Johnny Depp movie Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, an England football shirt signed by the team and a prop Oscar award from the Ricky Gervais film The Invention of Lying.

Three-year-old Robbie, from Bowburn, County Durham, walks using prosthetic limbs.

His mother, Jill, said: “We’re really looking forward to Robbie’s Night and we hope people will come along.

“Robbie’s doing really well. He recently took his first independent steps and it was a really emotional day for us all.”

Since 2008, about £110,000 has been raised for the cause.  The first Robbie’s Night generated £12,000.

Robbie’s Night 2 will be at the Gala Theatre, Durham, on Saturday, April 24, at 7pm.
