Step out this summer for Meningitis UK

PARTICIPANTS are being urged to sign-up for a popular stroll through Bristol's best-loved countryside and landmarks this summer.
Meningitis UK's annual 13-mile Summer Stroll looks set to be a fun day as around 200 people take to the city's footpaths and fields to raise money for the charity.
The event, which was launched by Bristol City goalie David James, takes place on Saturday, June 18.
It kicks off at the Lock Keeper pub in Keynsham at 9.30am before following the canal down the Avon walkway, through Hanham Lock and up around Broom Hill.
After going around the Conham River Park and through the Avon Valley Woodlands Nature Reserve, walkers will head towards Queen Square for a well-earned BBQ.
The next stage will go to College Green, up Park Street, through Victoria Square and over the Suspension Bridge and through Ashton Court before finishing at Ashton Gate stadium.
Meningitis UK's Laura Bullock, who is organising the day, said: "Last year was the first time we tried the new route and everyone really enjoyed it, discovering scenic parts of Bristol they never knew existed.
"We're planning a BBQ for lunch outside the Hole in the Wall near Queen Square which should be a well-deserved treat at the halfway point.
"Now's the time to register and look forward to what should be an enjoyable day out."
The Summer Stroll's split into two sections if people don't fancy the full 13 miles - an 8.5 mile stretch between Keynsham and Queen Square or the final 4.5 miles between Queen Square and Ashton Gate.
Over the last five years, the Summer Stroll has raised over £92,000 towards the charity's Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign to eradicate the deadly disease.
Registration for the walk costs £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s. In return you will receive lunch, a t-shirt and a ticket to a Summer Party at the Tobacco Factory on August 18.
